The Plan to Protect®model was created through extensive legal and insurance counsel in both the writing and the review stages of its development. Our draft policies are developed with the understanding that they do not constitute legal advice. Organizations are strongly encouraged to seek legal counsel as well as counsel from insurance companies.
We will provide you with a customized policy draft that draws on the latest recommendations from Provincial or State Protection Acts, insurance standards, and best practices.

Our Policy Development Process
To begin the process we will have you complete a Policy Questionnaire to gain a greater understanding of your governance structure, insurance requirements, the vulnerable sector that you serve, and your programs and initiatives. We will then have a meeting to discuss your responses on the questionnaire and the scope and sequence of policy writing. We will use the information from your questionnaire, our conversation, your organization’s website, and industry best practices to prepare the initial draft of your Customized Policy or Policy Update. This draft will be submitted to you for your review. Included in the process is one set of revisions and an optional follow-up meeting after the policy has been delivered.
